EU4Youth: supporting the green transition

Supporting the green economy and skills is part of the recent call launched by the EU4Youth Programme. Providing grants to ambitious and promising projects and initiatives supporting the green transition constitutes an important part of the call just launched by the EU Central Project Management Agency. A key focus is on disadvantaged youth to improve their skills and develop their entrepreneurial abilities.

Under the title “Fostering Youth Employment and Societal Change through Social Entrepreneurship”, the call for proposals includes lots, the second of which concerns youth entrepreneurship in green and digital economies and support to related networking and partnerships with an indicative allocation of €3,800,000.

Winning teams, which must be composed of entities from a minimum of two Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine), are provided generous financial support to help them implement their proposed action plans and contribute to mainstreaming digital and green skills amongst younger generations.
